Routine Appointments
These can be

"Face to face" surgery appointments or

 Telephone appointments

Please call 08443 878060 between 8:00am and 6:00pm any weekday to make a routine appointment. Most of our appointments with Doctors are opened ‘on the day’, however, we do open up one third of appointements 4  weeks in advance for patients who need to plan their visit to the Surgery. We also offer ‘Telephone Appointments’ within normal surgery times for medical advice or for clinical information, such as test results, which can often be discussed without the need for a face to face appointment. The Doctor will ring you back, on a number of your choice, which can be a home, work or mobile ‘phone number. Telephone appointments can also be made in advance

Although we do not operate ‘personal’ lists for our Doctors, patients are at liberty to request a specific Doctor who they wish to see or speak to.

However, many of our doctors work part time or run Specialist clinics and have limited availability in normal surgeries and patients must understand that they may have a much longer wait if they specify a particular doctor.

It should also be understood that we have over 9,200+ patients on our list and only five whole time equivalent doctors and it is inevitable that, in busy periods, all available appointments may be taken quite early in the day.

Urgent Appointments

If you have a medical problem which must be dealt the same day, telephone the above number as early as possible. If there are no routine appointments available you will be given a Telephone Appointment with either the On-Call Doctor or our Nurse Practitioner, depending on the nature of the problem. In either case the clinician will ring you back, on a number of your choice, to discuss the problem and agree appropriate treatment, which may include offering an urgent appointment in the Surgery. If you feel the problem is a medical emergency please advise the Receptionist who may put you through to the On-call Doctor directly.
